Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique 051014. Huge head of soft pink foam above a cloudy red beer. Sweet and fruity in a not bad kind of a way. Wouldn’t think that this would be for everybody.

Rouge claire, pétillance moyenne, fine mousse rose.

Bem carbonatada e refrescante. Minha esposa gostou muito.

Anker Blond with juices from several kinds of berries. Very thick, creamy, yellowish head and dark ruby brown colour. Cassis dominates the nose, but the brambleberry and blueberry are also present - though I cannot find much else. Same story in the mouth, very sweet and dominated by the cassis, soft sourish accent but not enough to give balance, soft subtle maltiness underneath. As much as I like the Anker ales, top-fermented fruit beers with sweetened juices instead of real fruit will never be my cup of tea - although I have to admit that for this style, it is fairly well-made in comparison with most other comparable products. I have yet to taste the updated version after 2009, which is apparently classified as a different beer here.

Bottle from Yamaya. Big fat berry, fruit jam aroma. Light rose wine color. Vert light raspberry and strawberry initial / wine-like and tart in mid / finishes with a thin film coating of berry sweetness, which loses flavor like gum that has been chewed too long. Very thin body. Very mild stuff. Drinkable, to be sure. A bit thin in flavor, good in aroma.

Bottle at Kulminator. Vintage 2004, 11 years old. Aroma of berry sirup. Taste starts sweet, then gets more sour and maltier. Nice smooth berries. Aging did this beer well.
