3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rusty brown/burgundy body that is interestingly opaque. Head is a nice froth of thick bubbles, pinkish color. Smell is strong and floral, bordering on a sweet dessert and bathroom cleaner. Taste is bright rasberries and cherries with caramel. Nice bitter/sourness makes this like a Flemish. Nice citrusy, lemon twang on the lips. Everything this Boscoulis does is different than any beer I’ve ever had

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Deep pink. Pours to a puffy tan hinting of pink, fades away to an oily lavender film. Smells of raspberries, sugar, and vague mustiness. Far too sweet and sugary, attempts to balance it with some woody malts and a bit of mustiness, but it’s just not a good thing.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Solid fruit beer. Something for a sweet fruity mood if you are ever looking for a beer like that. Hazy reddish color with slight brown tinge. Nice white head which leaves good lacing. Raspberry aroma with hints of sugar. Overly sweet raspberry flavors. Light and clean palate.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slight gushing to huge pinkish head; fully hazy cyclamen-red beer. Fruity, raspberry-ish aromas, pastry-like. Very sweet taste with a (dark??) malty underslung. There is some fruity tang, but not anywhere enough to speak about acidity. Fruitcake flavour. Rather well bodied, fruit-juice like texture, but there’s more around, of course. ’t Anker wanted to have its own oddity. Oh well, worse certainly exists. Seems to be extremely popular in the UK, I’m told.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
cloudy nut-brown colour, big firm and slightly pink tainted head, nice lacing, strong aroma of dark fruits (raspberry, peach, ...), creamy and oily mouthfeel, very sweet with a touch of acidity, the finish is plain fruit and sugar and quite cloying - could work as raspberry jam for breakfast but nothing else

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Consume by 19 07 05. Pours a very cloudy magenta with a moderate pink head. Aroma is very sweet with fruit notes (berries) and maybe light honey. Possibly strawberry cheesecake blended in this too. Taste is very fruity with artificial fruit notes and sugar being dominant with light sourness. Guess this is a wanna-be Lindemans Framboise. Body is leaning towards the thin side with light tartness. Finish is dry but tart fruits and artificial sweetness.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Muddy amber color with red shades. Mellow aroma of fruit candies (mix of strawberry and cherry). Far from being a real beer, yet it’s somehow pleasant to drink, quite sweet and with some fruitness (cherry and strawberry, inverse order); but the arrière-goût is too strange (kernels bitterness…).

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Funky rasberry color with a quick diminishing head. Aroma of dusty rasberries. Taste is similar, with a light sweetness followed with a slight tartness. Not too bad and I’d really like to try this stuff fresh, as it seems to have potential. Cantillon it ain’t but not bad.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
(330ml bottle, best by 7/19/05) Huge pink head that retains well atop an opaque pink-red body. Aroma is strongly raspberry, a bit more tart than sweet. Taste is moderately sweet, raspberry, minimal tartness or sourness. Watery light-medium body, fairly light on the tongue given the potential for syrup. Thanks but no thanks.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark red body topped by a dense pink head. Was not exepecting a fruit beer. Strong raspberry aroma. The flavor is clotingly sweet with ony hints of sour. Raspberry is totally dominant. Reminds of lemonade made with raspberries. Medium body. Not horrific but too sweet and very odd.
