Dec 4, 2006 Cask handpump at Thomas Ingoldsby, JDW, Canterbury. Gold colour with thin white head. Spicey aroma, like cinnamon. Soft golden ale in mouth. Then Belgian yeast kicks in. Spice and Belgian yeast aroma. Spicey pale fruits in mouth. Bit of green apple. Some syrupy fruit in mouth. Finish has yeast, pale fruit and some tangy hop. OK, if not wonderful.
