Light brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon. Flavour has speculaas spices as well. Sweet and malty. Nice gimmick, well executed, but a one-time experience. thebeertourist (2751), Oslo, Norway Dec 16, 2008 On tap at In de Wildeman. Hazy amber with a dense off-white head. Strongly spiced aroma with hints of vegetables and speculoos makes itself clearly felt. Quite sweet speculoss flavours, some vegetable notes as well. Well-carbonated, a bit sticky. Even if speculoos is delicious, in this beer it becomes a bit one-dimensional and on the sweet side. Borresteijn (1349), Amstelveen, Netherlands Dec 1, 2008 On tap @ Kafe België. Light brown beer, off white head. Aroma of speculaas (nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger, mace, sugar). Flavour is speculaas, mainly the cinnamon jumps out, very sweet (too sweet actually), but rather fullbodied. A bit too much, but worth a try. oberabcbbsok (686), Hoboken, Belgium Aug 28, 2008 Tap at beer festival in Mechelen. A very nice speculaas aroma and taste.I liked it very much Yves (989), Beerse, Belgium Jul 13, 2008 Darker amber coloured beer with small off-white head. Malty speculaas aroma. Sweet full palate.
