3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 muffel (130) - Lower Saxony, GERMANY - JAN 1, 2010
On tap. Almost non-existent head, golden color. Taste is fresh, smooth with a bit of hops. Medium carbonation. Despite being a Pils it had some Weizen-characteristics. Very interesting in a way.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Boystout (1000) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - AUG 23, 2005
Draft in Odessa (a bar on Kanatna Street, who’s interested). Amber colour and high rocky head. Decent herbal aroma, very complex flavour: toffees, caramel, herbs, honey and many more. Not really a pils (a ratebeer’s premium lager, maybe), but a fantastic beer.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 weepingsuds (222) - Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - JUN 29, 2005
Bottle. Picked this up in Nordlingen a very cool German town that was hit by a metorite a long time ago. This is a very decent all around pils. Nice light and hoppy with a smooth carbonation touch.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bov (8161) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - DEC 6, 2004
I had this beer many years ago at one time when I was only giving ratings to the beers but was too lazy and stupid to write down my thoughts. I will update this as soon as I get my hands on this beer again.
