Draft in Odessa (a bar on Kanatna Street, who’s interested). Amber colour and high rocky head. Decent herbal aroma, very complex flavour: toffees, caramel, herbs, honey and many more. Not really a pils (a ratebeer’s premium lager, maybe), but a fantastic beer.

500 ml bottle. Bright clear straw gold, fine white lasting foam. Muted aroma of Pils malt and Noble hop. Biscuity Pils malt taste, lemony citrus, slightly sweet and grassy, lightly bitter Noble influence. Average carbonation, light bodied, lightly hopped. Dry end, mighty fine old country Pils. Bottle. Golde, fine carbonation, white lace. Crisp and flowery hops on a aromatic straw base, light honey, aromatic finish. Chewy bas, medium body, light sparkly mouthfeel. Floery hops retronasal. Nice.

Like most northern german pils a little graspy but quite sweet too. Some foam and golden features. Quite thick also.

bottle, kindly donated by pivnizub! Clear pale yellow, mid-sized white head. Elegant malty base, resiny hops and a very smooth palate. Bitter-sweet with a Bohemian touch.

Bottle: Pale golden and clear, quickly collapsing smaller white head, mild, but distinctive, aromatic (almost a bit piney) and herbal hoppy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, soft and light bodied; slightly lingering pale-malty and soft hoppy finish. Very pleasant stuff from the meteorite crater…

I had this beer many years ago at one time when I was only giving ratings to the beers but was too lazy and stupid to write down my thoughts. I will update this as soon as I get my hands on this beer again.

Bottled. Yellow colour with a mediumsized foamy white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is malty, grainy with some slight citrusy and floral notes. Flavour is rather big grassyness and floral hops along with some bready and doughy maltyness. Mild grassy and hayish notes in the finish. Pleasant bitterness.

500ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some really pleasant lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild cereal grains and grass. Taste is a grassy hop bitterness with a light grainy malt sweetness underneath. Decently balanced with a light body and fair carbonation. There is a lingering aftertaste that I cannot put my finger on and it rubs me the wrong way or I would have scored higher. Otherwise, a quality pilsner that looks good and tastes good initially.
