500ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a finger of white head that settles slowly to reveal some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy. Taste is grassy hop bitterness with a sickly malty sweetness. Similar in quality to a typical American malt liquor. Not very tasty and not recommended.

Bottle from a trade with Cunningham. Pours clear golden with a big fast collapsing white head. Aroma is grainy malty. Taste is light sweet malty, bread and caramel, smooth light creamy mouthfeel,some liht fruityness towards the end.Light bitterness only at the finish, as expected, not bad.

Bottle from Systembolaget labeled as Ankerbräu Festbier, back label saying it’s annually brewed for oktoberfest (just wondering RB’s name with Weinacht in it). Quite nice aromatic, grassy hopped beer. Soft and oily mouthfeel. Very well balanced. No tricks, just a good basic german brew.

(Som Ankerbräu Festbier) Gyllene öl med vitt skum. Doftar inte så mycket. Lite malt och lite ljust bröd. Smaken hade också kunnat vara kraftigare. Brödighet, lätt citrus och lite antydan av alkohol.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear pale golden, coarse brief head. Fruity nose with some glue. Sweetish with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and syrupy, some marzipan and glue. Low bitterness.

Bottled (as Ankerbräu Festbier). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, grassy, floral and some mild grainy and salty notes. Flavour is mild floral notes, some slight bitterness, salty and some bready malts and herbs. Quite standard brew.

Big but short clear white head. No sparkle in a clear, solid yellow color.
Malty and a tuch of butter aroma. Big malty taste but also a bit sweet and heavy. Balansing bitterness.
