Bottle. 5.2%. Cloudy orange with a nice firm white head. Pleasant classic Weizen aroma with lots of banana, clove, a bit of bubblegum and a light citric hint. Sweetish wheaty flavor with banana esters, a light grainy hint, some bubblegum and a faint spiciness in the finish. Medium-bodied. A very pleasant, mellow, easy-drinking Hefeweizen. Fun.

0.5l bottle from Calgary. Pours a transparent golden yellow with a huge white head, tons of carbonation. Aroma: Yeast. Yeast yeast yeast. Hope you like yeast. Slight hint of banana and cloves. Palate: medium bodied, foamy, oily, slightly astringent finish. Taste: Slightly sweet. Weird sourness in the end. Bottle may be off. If not, it’s one probably the worst German wheat beer I’ve ever had, but still better than most north american ones.

pivnizub (9012) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUN 5, 2013
Bottle: Golden to deep golden, hazy, mid-sized and slowly collapsing off-white head, subdued lemons, yeast, bananas and a tinge of cloves in the aroma; light to moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light bodied, but creamy; sweet-wheaty finish with sourish fruits in the aftertaste. Nothing special, but quite O.K.…

(bottle) Cloudy, orange colour with a big and blond foamy head. Yeasty, fruity aroma with notes of ripe citrus and banana, accompanied by a present wheat-malty touch and hints of vanilla. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Wheaty and yeasty taste with present notes of banana and citrus, leaving out too much spicy phenols; sweet and slightly sour fruity finish. A clean and easy-going Hefeweizen. 28.V.13

Draft. Hazy yellow with a good white dense head. Aroma is banana, yeasty. Flavour is moderat sweet, banana, malty no sign of hops, some citrus can be felt. Not bad, refreshing but it misses something
