tbookman (618), Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 1, 2007 Dark bown color- a little opaque - almost no head at all. Aroma is very sweet. This is the definition of cloying for me. Like drinking pure soda syrup - no carbonation, flat and nasty sweet.
jcwattsrugger (3942), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 8, 2008 12oz bottle-pours a rich light brown head and black color with red tint. Aroma is mild dark malt-slight molasses, some fruit, nice. Taste is fruit, cola-like syrupy-sugar cane, sweet dark malt, hint of hops. A malt bomb. Soft carbonation which doesn’t break up the sweetness quite enough. Interesting, nice. Aggie80 (685), Michigan, USA May 31, 2008 For what it is, it was pretty good. Very dark pour that wafted the sweet aroma of malt to the nose. Strong head and lacing, the sweetness was pretty overpowering. austone (326), Turku; Pori, Finland Mar 6, 2008 Black with light brown head. Nose is metallic with some ryemalt, syrupy. Flavor is almost undrinkably sweet and syrupy. Finishes a little drier with a hint of sweetened coffee, bitterness and roasted malts, still has that metallic tinge. Light to medium bodied, cola-like carbonation and overall feel. schiaveto (4), Brazil does not count Aug 22, 2007 Regular macro dark lager, with adition of sugar syrup and caramel colorant after beer filtration. Dark brown colour, poor head retention Russo (487), Campinas, Brazil May 24, 2007 Bottle. Dark color with a tiny beige head, almos nothing and disappear quickly. Aroma of toasted malt but too weak, flavor is like caramel ou pour sugar, too sweet. No bitterness at all!
Cerveja escura com uma espuma quase insignificante e que desaparece muito rápido. Aroma de malt torrado mas muito fraco, sabor doce em demasia, praticamente caramelo e puro açúcar. Nenhum toque amargo foi percebido!
