COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
4000 years ago it was custom in Babylonia, during a month after a wedding, that the father of the fiancèe provided to his son-in-law with all the beer of honey that could take. Like the Babylonian calendar he was based on the lunar phases, this period was called "honeymoon". The Beer of Antares Honey is smooth, dry and refrescante, with sublime tones of honey in the aroma and post-taste.

Draught at the Tandil location. Lightly hazy golden, average head. Sweet with evident honey aroma. Medium bodied. Sweet, but stays away from being sticky. Intense floral honey flavour, vague vegetable finish. One of the better beers in a style I’ve never really understood.

Sampled at the brewhouse. A pretty sweet flavored beer and didnt have an overpowering honey flavor, which was nice. Still though, it was weak in overall quality.

A little odd, but actually pretty decent over all. Had a half pint poured with good head and lots of lace. Head slowly dissipated to a light covering. Color is a polished brass. The aroma is very distinct honey dominating beer. Flavor is beer with a very pronounced honey character, but enough dry bitterness to balance it with the beer overall. It’s the best stronly honey flavored beer I’ve ever had. There was a strange flavor that reminded me of some chewing gum I’d once had. Body was good with fine carbonation. Could be a session beer.

Draught at the brewerys pub in Buenos Aires, a hazy gold with a tight foamy head. A hoppy aroma carrying honey and citrus. A very punchy hop palate, very clover honey flavour and a mellow finish. Very nice.

Drank this beer in the Antares brewpub in Bariloche (Argentina). Had the sampler of the different beers on draught. Could not really distinguish the honey taste but nevertheless an enjoyable beer.

Craught at Antares Palermo, October 2006. Pours a beatiful, shiny, clear golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is very perfumey, caramelly. Taste is clear, slightly sweet, nutty. Medium to light aftertaste and short afterstaste. An easy drinking but strong golden ale.
