Aroma is dark malt-chocolate/molasses/peat, maybe some licorice, some earthy hops. Taste is dark malt-chocolate/molasses/peat, maybe some licorice, some earthy hops-with a fair amount of astringency which goes from initial thru aftertaste, medium body. The astringency reduces by the second pour then some dark fruitiness comes through. OK carbonation.

Taste is also roasted, maslty, notes of chocolate and licorice. Oily mouthfeel. Bitter and dry end oh6gdx (5857), Vaasa, Finland Feb 26, 2008 Bottled. Deep coppery amber colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is toffee, coffee, caramel and roasted malts. Flavour is caramel, and roasted malts. Quite watery palate.
