4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 pega221 (1) - - FEB 4, 2008 does not count
Bottled is better than tap, at least I tried both and that’s my opinion. Great flavor and aroma. Unluckly, it’s almost impossible to find it now, because isn’t anymore at the "brewmaster selection" of Antares. Will wait for the next time!

Bottle @ Chris_o. Pours a clear golden color with a small off-white head. Spicy malty and slightly yeasty aroma. Sweet malty malty spicy flavor with some hints of yeast and also some herbal hints. Warming spicy yeasty finish. A little thin though.

Bottle at Chris_o’s Magic Night. Pale gold, still yeasty, bit of spice. Bit thin I thought. It’s a tripel. Bit thin. OK.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 MesandSim (7109) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 12, 2007
A Mes rate: 75cl bottle at the Magic_dave6 shindig at Chris O’s. Blonde with a slim white head. Herbacious with tropical fruits, aniseed and orange plus some nice hoppage. Straight forward but really tasty. Although the alcohol is quite clear in the finish I can’t help but feel it’s a little whimpish and needs a bit of bite. Nice though.

Bottle at chris_o’s. What a beer we have here, possibly the best triple iv ever had. Alround: Citrus, floural, candy sugar, spicey orange and cloves, grassy, vry very tasty, the only beer i went back and had second and thirds of.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2007
75cl bottle at Bohemia bar, BsAs - This actually tasted Belgian... or, at least, it had the characteristic spiciness you often find in Belgian tripels so full marks for using the (presumably) correct yeast. A sweetish amber beer, it had a decent malty taste - if a little lacking complexity amd candy sugar as a proper tripel - then more spiciness in the dry, malty finish. A good attempt from 7,000 miles away!
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Fukito (611) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - AUG 5, 2007
Tap at Antares Palermo, August 07. Cristal clear, golden color with a creamy, medium white head and an effervescent carbonatation. Fruity aroma, some pears and mineral notes. Tastes fruity, esthery, spicy, very duvelesque. Gentle but firm with a nice, comforting spicy aftertaste. Medium palate, filling, inviting, vivid with a spicy crispiness. Nice, well crafted, engaging tripel.
