Belgian Style Blonde-Ale Assertive, Beautiful, Complex. Pours with a rocky white head that laces your glass. A spicy nose with hints of coriander and slightly peppery finish, brings balance to this beer’s clean malty base. Pairs well with frites, chicken tikka masala, triple-creme cheeses, tarte tartin.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a very hazy pale gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a combination of citrus and coriander backed by sweet grains. Flavor has sweet citrus up front with a growing grain note and a bit of light spice.

12oz can pours a hazy gold with a ring film of white head. Nose has quite a bit of ripe tropical fruit, some pineapple, some guava, a little Asian pear, honey, some mild spice, a little lemongrass, some yeasty notes too. Flavor is a combination of fruit and spice, a little white pepper, a little cardamom, then fruit, pineapple, pear, guava. Fruity finish. Not what I was expecting.

Poured from can to glass. Hazy straw hue with fizzy white head the dissipated to a ring. Aroma is pineapple, lemon, peppercorn, earthy, Belgian esters, straw. Mouthfeel is refreshing with a medium light body and zesty carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness throughout with a slight tart bitterness in the following and blending well through the finish. Overall this is a nice brew.

Pours a hazy golden color with a finger of white sudsy foam. Aromas are a blend of herbal spice, sweet white grape and murky yeast. Palate follows with a strange fruity pebble like malt presence, some bitter herbal nuances and a vegetal bitter arugula like finish. Not really enjoying the contrast of the sweet fruity with the lingering bitterness.

From can. Pretty, hazy gold with some choppy white head. Sweet nose, yeasty with some fruit. Smooth with a slightly peppery finish. Good representation of the style.
