3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
My brother was nice enough to buy me a bottle of Antigoon. I did not expect a murky golden Belgian Ale. Yeasty bread, bitterness and even sour overwhelm the taste buds. Double blonde may be best to describe this Belgian Ale.

Pours a hazy straw with notes of banana and yeast. The palate dances with yeast notes that turn a bit dry during the mid palate. a nice spiced finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dull amber-copper and clear. The foam was very thick on this one. The aroma has plasticy phenols and a light dusting of spice. Dry and spicy character, with coriander and dried flowers, alongside some dusty yeast. Only a slight hint of alcohol late, with sweet malts.

Bottle from Total Wine. Warm sunny orange with fluffy meringue head. Yeasty aroma. Peaches, nectarines. Medium body, soft palate. Nutty malt backbone and balancing hop bitterness in addition to the ester character, which remains peachy. Balanced.

I have it at Mussel Bar. I really like it but I do not remember detail of it. We signed up the bottle and they will put it with the hanging others. I will get it again soon

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. The pour was a medium murky golden yellow with an average sized (1-2 finger) white creamy head that had awesome retention, reducing to a thin white layer and having excellent sheets of lacing.
The aroma was of a grain malt and a moldy Belgian yeast with notes of banana, honey and citrus (orange and lemon).
The taste was lightly sweet with a touch of malt and a hint of honey at first and had a nice bitter-sweet yeasty finish with a big note of citrus at the end. The flavor lingered for a good long time with the yeasty bitterness lasting the longest.
Mouthfeel was light to medium in body with a creamy dry texture and a medium carbonation.
Overall a boldly flavored Belgian Ale without the heavy alcohol presence, very enjoyable...

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
A present from a possum. Hazy golden beer with a decent white head. Strong aromas of Belgian sugars, and mixed fruit. Tastes of sweet dough and lots of wheat beer flavors: some oranges, lemons, even some bananas. So light, and smooth. Ends on a Belgian sugar goodness note. This beer is refreshing, and quite remarkable. Great brew.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle poured into a Bruery tulip glass. Pours a cloudy golden color with a nice meringue like head that dissipates with some mild lacing. Aroma is banana, grass and slight hint of Belgian yeast. If I hadn’t looked up this beer I would’ve thought that this was a hefeweizen. But the Belgian yeast kick at the end lets you know it isn’t. Interesting beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Healthy Spirits. Pours cloudy golden with a massive off-white head and a typical banana aroma. There is a dry fruity flavor with banana ester and a grassy feel.
