4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 branspra (293) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - APR 29, 2010Bottle. Pours a hazy light amber color with an extremely large, very dense, white head. Lacing is very strong. Aromas of bananas, caramel, bread, and hay dominate. Palate is very smooth and creamy with a nice crisp finish. Flavors of banana and hay dominate again, but then it has a nice bitter aftertaste. This is an amazing beer!

750 ml Bottle,
this ale had a hazy gold-orange pour and made a large, fluffy white head that lowered to a thick cover that left lots of sticky lacing, the glass had a strong center flow of bubbles with many small streams at the sides of the glass, the bottom of the bottle had a wide ring of light brown sediment,
this ale had aromas of pale malt, nice floral notes of wild flowers, light tropical fruit and citrus, a little yeast and some malt sweetness,
this drink had flavors of light toasted malt and bread, hops that had a gentle spice and bitterness, the finish had light hop bitterness with some malt and malt sweetness trailing afterwards,
the mouth feel was light to medium with average to lively carbonation,
this drink had a very nice nose and flavor, and reminded me of the Troubadour Blond beer which is made by the same brewer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 yrstruly (191) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 23, 2013
Pours clear gold with a lasting, creamy head with nice lacing. The aroma is of honey, cut grass, orange, wheat, fruit esters, and barnyard funk - really complex and pleasant! The taste is clean and dry, with lemon and caramel dominant, with a medium-light hop bitterness present in the finish. Medium bodied with likewise carbonation. Nicely balanced Belgian ale.

Tap. Pours a hazed creamy light orange hue with a huge pillowy offshore head. Aroma surprisingly subdued. Old wet soggy grass. Banana. Over ripened pear. Taste is relatively potent rustic pear and banana parfait. Touch of grassy bitterness. Touch of cracker malts. Medium body with a dry finish. Pretty nice. Liked this just fine.

Finishes with sweet malt, yeast, fruity citrus notes with some mild bitterness. The ending is slightly tart oak aged lingering vanilla flavor. Overall a very good flavorful and enjoyable brew.

330ml from Total Wine in Claymont. Pours clear orange with an aggressive head and a ton of carbonation in the glass. This is a complex smelling beer. There is a big apricot nose with some citrusy hoppy notes. Really inviting. The taste has a nice sweetness to it.. orange, maybe some banana, apricot.. a little spice on the finish. Very nice.
