Papsoe (9771), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 10, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear warm and very pretty reddish amber with a dense creamy off-white head leaving some lacework. Sweet aroma of burned caramel. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, caramel malts and a little fruit - almost berry-like. Dry and hoppy finish. 050608 yespr (5611), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 8, 2008 50 cL bottle, trade with kappldav123. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Dry spiced and cardboard aroma. Flavour starts medium sweet, rye breadish and slight spiced. Malty and dry, becomes not penetrating. Finish a bit scratchy. Really good! Quack-Duck (1631), Bodensee, Germany Mar 2, 2008 bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear amber/brown colour, large and creamy beige head. Quite hoppy with a solid malt base, hints of herbs and spices, slightly fruity (wild berries). MiP (4843), Flensburg, Germany Sep 2, 2007 Draught at BBF07. Almost clear brown colour. Small light brown head. Good spicy flavour. Has a little fruit to it, berrylike. Quite good, but gets a little boring after a while.
