Black, medium brown head. Hops, rye spiciness and roastiness on the nose. Medium bodied, bitter - both roasty and hoppy - some notes of dark chocolate. Definite rye spiciness. Finishes warming, bit dry and warming. Wonderful!

Bottle. Pours in dark amber, almost black color with medium creamy tan head. Aroma has coffee, woody, light fruity, roasty. Mostly on the sweet chocolate-coffee like side. Taste has moderate to high fruity bitterness upfront with gentle chocolate sweetness to balance it out. The bitterness is little bit grassy. Body is medium to low with medium to low carbonation as well. Good.

0.75l bottle from Kulovy Blesk. Deep brown, black colour, beige head. Malty with coffee and lots of it. Resiny hops tune in soon, leading to a bitter-sweet finish.

Bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours blackish brown with a small frothy blackish beige head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is malty, slightly fruity and tiny funky with biscuits, burnt cereal, roasted malts, tropical fruits, grapefruit juice, hay, pine, burnt wood and barnyard. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, fruity and funky with roasted malts, burnt wood, biscuits, grapefruit juice, soil, leather, barnyard, ripe tropical fruits, orange zest, lemon zest and dark roast coffee. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter and slightly fruity with roasted malts, soil, barnyard, grapefruit rinds, orange zest, unripe tropical fruits, leather, coffee and barnyard. Lingering brett infection since I don’t think the funkiness is intentional. Works but most likely not what it’s supposed to be...

From a bottle. Pours very dark brown with a thick head resembling some stouts. Aroma mainly citrus, taste pleasantly bitter-sweet, coffee and chocolate, perhaps a hint of caramel, combined with powerful hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
