Draught @ ’t Pakhuis. Bright orange with little white head. Nose is rotting oranges & spices, mouldy plaster, stagnant yeast & some malts. Taste is mouldy plaster, spices, old stale dusty yeast, paint, mushroom, malts, light white pepper. Stale old yeast body. Comparable to their Lente bier but even below. Another one I would say has very clear flaws. Gave it to a less picky friend to finish – first time I saw his struggling with a beer. Hard to compliment.

Draft at the brewpub. Sweet, honey-malted aroma with some orange zest and touch of ethanol. Nice golden-orange color. Rather sweet taste, lightly bitter. Has some body and not as lively as most Belgians. It claims to be a "thirst killer," but for that I’d need something drier, with more hop to it. I can enjoy boring if it’s refreshing, and this one doesn’t get there.

Hazy golden orange pour with a white head. Some cereal/grain sweetness on the nose along with a light fruit ester profile. Some straw and yeast notes, lightly watery, and perhaps some spice. Just kind of sweet and bland in terms of the flavor. Some hints of spice, popcorn, and yeast. Maybe a touch of pear fruitiness.

Fra fat på brewpuben i Antwerpen 29 Apr 11. Veldig lys. Som vann. Lavt skum. Svakt metallisk aroma. Smaken lett krydret. Anonym. OK tørsteslukker.

On draft at the brewery. Hazy golden body with a dense, lasting white head. Lots of lace. Big bready yeast and clove in the nose. Dash of pepper. Grassy flavor with some honey and more clove. A little pineapple and bread. Light body with light bitterness. Effervescent carbonation with a dry finish. Lingering yeast spice. Tasty beer.

On draught at Huisbrouwerij t’Pakhuis in Antwerp. Pours a blonde colour with a thin white head. Aroma of bready yeast, caramel, white pepper and lemon. Flavours of caramel and lemon pepper with a long bready caramel linger. Chewy mouth-feel. Very nice. Quite a complex aroma and flavour. Mildly bitter and not too sweet.

On tap at the brewpub. A slightly unclear one, pale golden in color and with a small, white head. Rather buttery aroma, with a lot of fruityness preventing it from going all bad. The flavor is much the same, quite citrusy too. Medium body. Boring and not too pleasant. 110429

Fruchtiger bananiger Geruch, erfrischend. Der Antrunk lässt an ein deutsches Weizenbier erinnern, fruchtig, hefig und erfrischend. Im Mittelteil erscheint eine leicht herbe Note, das Bier an sich wird milder. Weiterhin leicht fruchtig, wie beim Weizenbier ist auch hier im Nachgeschmack ein säuerlicher Ton erkennbar, der Nachgeschmack selber hält nicht wirklich lange, zuletzt meldet sich noch eimal die Hefe. From tap at the brewhouse. Unfiltered golden. Filmy layer. Smell of grassy hops with spices, in the direction of cat piss. Fresh taste of sweet fruits together with herbal hops and hints of clove. Notes buttery malts, too. Medium to thin bodied. Very average (Antwerpen, 29.04.2011).
