Slightly hazy pale yellow color, cloudy white head, some lace. Light citrusy estery nose. Acidic, lemony with subdued grassy hops. Leaves dry lemony mouthfeel. Not in top condition?

Fra fat på brewpuben i Antwerpen 29 Apr 11. Veldig lys. Som vann. Lavt skum. Svakt metallisk aroma. Smaken lett krydret. Anonym. OK tørsteslukker.

On draft at the brewery. Hazy golden body with a dense, lasting white head. Lots of lace. Big bready yeast and clove in the nose. Dash of pepper. Grassy flavor with some honey and more clove. A little pineapple and bread. Light body with light bitterness. Effervescent carbonation with a dry finish. Lingering yeast spice. Tasty beer.

On draught at Huisbrouwerij t’Pakhuis in Antwerp. Pours a blonde colour with a thin white head. Aroma of bready yeast, caramel, white pepper and lemon. Flavours of caramel and lemon pepper with a long bready caramel linger. Chewy mouth-feel. Very nice. Quite a complex aroma and flavour. Mildly bitter and not too sweet.

On tap at the brewpub. A slightly unclear one, pale golden in color and with a small, white head. Rather buttery aroma, with a lot of fruityness preventing it from going all bad. The flavor is much the same, quite citrusy too. Medium body. Boring and not too pleasant. 110429

On tap at the brewpub. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma is butterscotsch, malt, fruit. Flavour is butterscotsch, malt, fruit, yeast. Boring beer.

Fruchtiger bananiger Geruch, erfrischend. Der Antrunk lässt an ein deutsches Weizenbier erinnern, fruchtig, hefig und erfrischend. Im Mittelteil erscheint eine leicht herbe Note, das Bier an sich wird milder. Weiterhin leicht fruchtig, wie beim Weizenbier ist auch hier im Nachgeschmack ein säuerlicher Ton erkennbar, der Nachgeschmack selber hält nicht wirklich lange, zuletzt meldet sich noch eimal die Hefe. From tap at the brewhouse. Unfiltered golden. Filmy layer. Smell of grassy hops with spices, in the direction of cat piss. Fresh taste of sweet fruits together with herbal hops and hints of clove. Notes buttery malts, too. Medium to thin bodied. Very average (Antwerpen, 29.04.2011).

On tap at the brewpub. Yellow pale golden body with a fast disappearing white head. Not much aroma and in this case that’s positive because it reminds me about some kind of hair remedy. Flavor is light fruity and synthetic with yeast and a bit acidic. Almost no bitterness. Frankly I had some problem to finish my glass; I assume there might be something wrong with this batch. It felt unfinished.

27/02/2011 - on tap @ ’t Pakhuis (2011-70)

Little cloudy pale yellow to whiteish beer. Creamy white head, stable and adhesive, no carbon in glass. Aroma: hops, fruity, a little dairy. MF: very little carbon, almost flat. Light to medium body. Taste: the fruity part from peach candy (so not sweet) some citrussy hop notes also. Aftertaste: little malt sweetness followed by a nice bitter dry finish. Light and good drinkable beer.

(Draught at the brewpub) The beer poured pale golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and hint of honey. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, mildly hops, Belgian style yeast, hint of tartness and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A bit musty brew but otherwise nothing really wrong with it.
