oberabcbbsok (633), Hoboken, Belgium Apr 2, 2008 Tasted as well from draft as from bottle. A nice christmas beer that is so much better on draft as from bottle yespr (5258), Copenhagen O, Denmark Dec 25, 2007 1 L bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium. Pours slight hazy copper coloured with a little lacing white head. Dark malty aroma. Flavour is mild sweet and malty. Has a nice soft yeasty note to the mild dried fruit. Ends with a mild bitterness and a lingering yeasty fruit note. oh6gdx (4910), Vaasa, Finland Dec 19, 2007 Bottled@Kerstbierfestival 2007. Ruby colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, some yeast and hops. Flavour is spices, sweet fruits and some yeast. Pleasantly brewed beer from Pakhuis. sayravai (2952), Helsinki, Finland Dec 18, 2007 (Bottled@Kerstbierfestival 2007, Essen) Hazy darkish amber with a smallish head. Typical, stuffy Pakhuis house aroma with roasty malt and some alcohol. Licoricey-malty, toffeeish flavor beats the aroma, but doesn’t really impress. Some gingerbread, and warming alcohol. Medium body, smooth and low-carbonated. Average. SHIG (1358), Oberoffligen, Germany Dec 17, 2007 Bottle Kerstbierfestival 2007: Poured a caramel amber color with white head. Aroma is sweet toffee, fruit, and roasted malt. The taste is sweet caramel/toffee with nice roasted maltness.
