Spicy, malty, yeasty aroma. Colour is dark red, big stable white head. Very smooth beer. Flavour is very malty and quite sweet with some burnt caramel in the aftertaste. Very well-balanced, harmonic beer. fonefan (4333), Ulfborg, Denmark Dec 23, 2006 Bottle @ Kerstbierfestival 2006 in Essen, BE. Dark ruby red color, clear with a fair white head. Aroma is fruit and caramel malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. But flavor and aroma do not match !! JorisPPattyn (4275), Antwerpen, Belgium Dec 12, 2004 Amber with very ruby-red highlights; even the head is pinkish coloured, not stable. Chocolate, some malt - nothing else to smell. Sourish notes above a lot of malt, some fruity cherry notes. Strange. Medium bodied, but very light, watery texture. Ends much sweeter in the aftertaste. It grows on you - but seen where it had to come from...
