11-NOV-2011, @Radisson Blu, Rome. After visiting "Ma Che Siete..." I grabbed this bought earlier in the day. My notes read "duxa" in stead of "Anxa"... The rest of the notes does make some kind of sense:) Very dark for an IPA - amber with lasting white head. Certainly on the malty side for an IPA. Although it does have a lot of hoppy bitter, piney, grape fruity notes - the fruity sweet malty side kicks in as well. Except for the ABV this could almost pass for an IIPA. Lovely creamy and long bitter and malty finish. Great.
