5 Slightly rubbery plasticy aroma, apart from that textbook European Strong Lager. Textbook Baltic industrial strong lager at that.
3- Deep straw colour, brief head.
5 Slightly chemical, slightly almondy retronasals. Sweet nutty bready malts, but again, a touch plasticky. Hints of bock, even.
3 Smooth palate, gentle carbonation.Finish a little plasticky, a little drying and papery with the hops. Gentle bitter tingle for the long finish.
10 Not a particularly good beer, by any means, but a fairly competent piece of industrial chemistry. Clearly something made from grains, and covering the 7.5% very well, this is textbook ESL. Finished the bottle later in the evening after some Saku Tumes, and this felt very light and refreshing, I so bumping it up a few points.
