Crystalline amber color, still. Faintly sweet honey aromatics. Sweet honey and clover/floral flavors at first, somewhat dry in the finish. Simple and not especially complex. It was pretty good, an everyday sort of light drinker to share with a meal.

Bottle. Dark, brownish color. Honey and alcohol aroma. Surprisingly dry flavor with some harsh alcohol, honeyed finish. Full body, no carbonation. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this isn't it. I'm reminded most of a very dry sherry -- not ideal as a companion to dessert.

750ml Bottle picked up at tres bonne. Pours out a crisp gold with no head. Aroma is nice sweet honey, green apple, pit fruit, and a grape. Taste is as the aroma with a nice honey, apple, grape. Not as thick and rich as some of the other Apis Meads.

A golden drink without head. The nose is sweet, grapes, alcohol, some honey, apples and raisins. Taste is very sweet, honey, some warmong alcohol, that is not actually taste, portwine, raisins. Full bodied, no carbonation, not sticky, easy to drink. Interesting drink, as cold a quite nice, a sweet dessert.

Copper mead with no head. Honey and peach on the nose. Lots of apple juice flavor. Honey and peach. Just too sweet for me. Otherwise pretty good but not like Finnish mead that I’m used to.
