75 cl bottle @ home. No #22272.
Quite dark appearance for a mead. Alcoholic aroma fills our table immediately when pouring. A closer smell reveals these aromas: alcohol, honey, some root beer notes and distant woody notes. When I take my nose out of the glass and smell again, the root beer notes get stronger. Flavour is sweet; it starts with alcohol and root beer notes. Finishes with honey and woody notes. The honey gets stronger towards the end of the glass. Good, although the alcohol disturbs. Not as good as Jadwiga.

Rest of the bottle @ lusikka
Bottle has been closed with its own cork, plastic wrap and tape, kept in room temp and re-opened after half an year. Still as good, no signs of ageing or contamination whatsoever.

This was horrible. Taste and aroma was honey and alcohol. I’ve liked high % and sweet beers like dark & sweet horizon, so i though i’d like this one also but nope. Didn’t want to drink anymore after the first few sips.

Bottle shared by Captain Cougar. Thanks! Pours a clear dark amber color. Dark aroma with notes of honey, sherry and wood. The taste is intensely sweet honey, raisin, sherry, citrus and a slight medicinal note. Full bodied.

Murky brown pour with no head. Big darkfruit and sherry notes with huge toffee and caramel in the flavor. Medium body with a syrupy finish.

750mL thanks to CaptainCougar. Clear amber. Small to weak legs. Nose is starchy, sweet, red fruits. Taste is mega sweet with lemon and grape drank. A little too sweet for me. Thinner, flat soda palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Not as thick and smooth as the jadigwa, otherwise quite similar. Sweet, flowery, fruity.

Bottled. Clear amber, no head. Caramelly and super sweet with full body and viscous mouthfeel. Ripe fruits and caramel. loads of sugar gives and aggressive sweetness. Intense, but sugar takes over in the finish.
