Bottle, at WeeHeavySD’s Halloween tasting, with thanks to wetherel! Pours a clear amber. Huge honey aroma, sweet and sharp, with spices. Big, rich taste, of sweet honey and sharper spices, and an alcohol bite. The black currant come through nicely. Lingering spicy sweetness. Really tasty.

Bottle from...I forgot? I love Jadwiga, so I’ve been eager to try this, but it’s so big and strong, I had to find a crowd. Pinkish yellow. Sweet. Flat. Pretty good, but no Jadwiga for sure.

0.75 l bottle. Copper color. Sweet honeyish and candyish aroma. Sweet honeish, flowery, raisiny and berryish flavor with warming palate. Nice deep raisiny character, my favourite from Apis.

Bottle via Wetherel at my tasting 2008 Halloween. Pours orange bubbly. Nose is sweet and alcoholic and boozy and quite astringent. Taste is sweet with a big jolt of honey. Very big overall smooth in the taste.

0.75l bottle courtesy of and shared with heavy (huge thanks!)
Poured a truly beautiful darker orange/amber... nice legs. The nose is big honey, slightly vinuous, dust and light alcohol, better than it sounds probably. A very, very drinkable mead, remarkably soft. Honey, prosecco-like notes (maybe grapes), some gummi bears and alcohol. Very warming. Definitely very, very enjoyable. Man, Apis really does some great stuff.

Thanks, Hopscotch, for the taste! Crystal clear golden color with no head. Aroma is strong on the alcohol, with the honey hidden in the back. The taste is floral, with the expected honey. Good, but strong on the alcohol.

Shared by hopscotch again, thanks! Deep amber and still. Nose is solventy, acetone, with light honey behind it. Also seems somewhat dirt and earthy, weird. Flavor is very sweet, herbal and earthen. Heavy.
