Bottle, courtesy Cheeseman. This beauty pours a dark copper-amber hue, looking still and dense. A quick swirl of the glass reveals thick, viscous tears that show prominently, fading very slowly. The nose booms with dark, concentrated honey sweetness, suggesting hints of wildflowers, particularly lavender. There’s little to no acidity, just pure, dark clover honey essence with soft floral whispers. Likewise, flavors are straightforward, smooth, and intense, loaded with dark honey sweetness and subtle hints of flowers. The palate is thick, viscous, and mouth coating, showing almost no alcoholic burn. Lip smacking honey lingers well after the finish. This is how a mead should be. Great stuff.

Thanks to cheeseman for this one. Pours a very clear ruddy sort of hue. Aromas of sweet honey and mild floral spice. Sweet and tasty. Lots of honey and sweet caramel. Mild darkened butter and light spice. Very light carbonation, sweet, yet enjoyable.
