Bright appearance, amber color. The aroma is deep, mature liquor; some wood fruits and spices. Syrupy sweetness, broken by the warming alcohol feeling, yet velvety mouthfeel; very sweet honey flavor, mature, with just a hint of wood and spices, and some fruit freshness. Splendid.

Clay bottle, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours amber, orangy, tea like (black), not clear in texture, quite sticky on the glass walls, quite high viscosity, healthly looking.
Aroma: Generally very sweet, notes of raisin, cookies, when examined closer there are gentle notes of spices but it is mainly simplified to pepper and nothing more worth attention, orange peal, black tea, I expected something more complex and not as dominated by honey as for a Dwójniak, note of alcohol are easily detectable.
Flavour: Very strong and satisfying notes of a bunch of spices, mainly pepper, harsh and rough at front, than leaving nice alcoholic warmth on palate and in the aftertaste nicely contrasting with quite heavy sweetness of natural honey origin. Finish duration is long and the Mead perfectly serves as a winter warmer.
Palate: Body is full, texture is sticky sweet, finish feel is strongly alcoholic, slightly astringent from spices what creates a nice contrast. Quite highly drinkable.
