4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Warm reddish brown colour, no head. Aroma of walnut, warm wood notes, alcohol, honey, light fruity touch. Sweet flavour, honey, maple syrup, raisins and vanilla. Full body. Sweet honey finish, caramel, lingering alcohol and raisins.
Very, very nice, in a dessert wine way. Good to nip and savour, but wouldn’t want to drink a whole bottle the whole evening.
(From 250 mL bottle shared @ Oirschot tasting. Thanks for getting me this one, Tim!)

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared by Martinus. Clear red color. Nice aroma of sweetness and alcohol. Taste is incredibly sweet and alcoholic. No idea how to rate this, totally not experienced when it comes to meads. Not bad though, but too sweet for me to really like it. The aroma is pretty nice I think but the sweetness is too much. It’s like pure honey with alcohol. Don’t know what to think of this, but it’s not bad. Not really my thing though.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle @ benzai thx to martinus. Dark amber colour with no head ofc. Smells alcohol, caramel honey, cherry, sweet, wood. Tastes very sweet, honey, deep flavour, a bit alcoholic, some wood, slightly walnut/hazelnut. It?s great but a bit too alcoholic for me. Full body and warming.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
250 mlk tasting bottle. Hugely rich honey nose, well aged and mellow, oxdized like a sherry. Deep orange amber with oily clear around the edges. slightly thick. Big honey flavor, sweet orange, alcohol, flowers. Very full and rich. Silky, oily, velvet. Excellent stuff. Had side by side with Kurpiowski, which has a lighter and fruiter flavor. That one is easier to drink a lot of, and lighter, this is very rich and good for a small snifter, lovely.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared by DrSilverworm at Natifest ’12 (from notes). Pours a clear amber color with 0 head. The aroma and flavor was sweet honey as I would expect, but this had so much more. Berries, vanilla, and some alcohol. This is as advertised and I look forward to trying this again.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours clear reddish amber, ruby when held to the light. Aroma is very honey, raspberry, touch of woodiness, spice. Very sweet honey and raspberry dominated, with a whiskey like note. Full bodied, syrupy mouthfeel. Not carbonated. Warming finish. Interesting desert mead.

Dobry wyrob pszczelarski. Pelnia slodyczy i miodu. Polecam.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Chilled 1 L glass bottle, not like the picture shown, poured into a snifter. Pours clear light red, medium body, and texture is extremely syrupy. Taste starts off off, then goes to big honey, and finishes nice raspberry honey. I thought I would like this more, based on the ratings.
