COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It has very rich specific fragrance due to the addition of raspberries and wild rose to nectar honey.

1 litre of Półtorak style mead contains 720 g of natural honey. By comparison, the Dwojniak style of mead contains 610g/L of honey; the Trojniak contains 420g/L and the Czworniak contains 320g/L.

Półtorak mead matures for several years to achieve full clarity. In time its rich aroma hides a high content of alcohol (16%) and acidity forming the finest liquor there is.

Pours clear golden color with no head. Aroma of honey, some ripe sweet fruits, mild caramel and alcohol. Flavor is pretty much the same with some sweetish berries. Nice.

75 cl bottle at home. Golden, oily liquid, completely still. Super sweet and heave on the nose with tons of roses, honey and berries. Mouthfeel is smooth silk and the taste explodes with honey, roses, rosehips, red berries and warming alcohol. Warming finish. Amazing mead.

Golden amber color. Flat, no carbonation. Cherries, honey, apricot, hints of wood and Chinese liquor (biajou) tempt the nose. Very well balance, never too sweet or cloying. Alcohol well hidden. A touch syrupy. Very smooth. Lingering sweet honey and cherries in finish. A touch warming. Excellent.

Possibly my favorite mead at the mead fest. I got no rasberries at all which is strange. What I did get was tons of rich maple, raisins, and honey. Just packed with flavor with a thick luxurious mouthfeel. Loved it.

The last few ounces of a bottle thanks to CanIHave4Beers. Super smooth. The alcohol is very well hidden, and what is there just adds character to the raspberry. Very nectar-y.

Aroma is honey, cherry, raisins, and alcohol. Taste is sweet and mild, with honey, maple, raisins, and some spice (but surprisingly, no raspberries). A little spice, bitterness, and some drying alcohol in the finish. Probably not for everybody, but I thought this was just great.
