4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Beautiful color, red with a hint of orange. Fruity smell but very song hard liquor aroma. The description is accurate, the honey taste completely masks the alcohol. This is a dangerous drink!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is my 1000th rating. I chose to rate this particular mead for a reason ; I come from Poland and this seams to be the best Polish delicacy on RB.
The bottle 50cl made of ceramic.
It has a deep red color. It leaves clear stains on the glass.
NOSE : from far this mead has a wood like smell with strong aromas of fruits. Obviously the honey is on top layer. The fruit aromas are quite complex. Mostly red berry fruits. The aromas of booze comes up when putting the nose into the sniffer. After a while of oxidation it wares off. The quality of the honey aromas is just amazing. It has also notes of toffee and burned caramel. Even some chocolate. Roses.
SIP : it is oily and sticky. It is quite thick. The feeling is very intense. The sweetness literally invades my mouth. It’s quite a shock whenever it touches my taste buds. Behind the top layer of sweetness it gets a bit acidic. It reveals complex fruit and flower notes. Aftertaste is sweet with aromas of rose dominating the palate.
OVERALL : it’s really a delicacy. Maybe not something one might choose to get drunk but something definitely to cheer up with.
