It has very rich specific fragrance due to the addition of raspberries and wild rose to nectar honey.

1 litre of Półtorak style mead contains 720 g of natural honey. By comparison, the Dwojniak style of mead contains 610g/L of honey; the Trojniak contains 420g/L and the Czworniak contains 320g/L.

Półtorak mead matures for several years to achieve full clarity. In time its rich aroma hides a high content of alcohol (16%) and acidity forming the finest liquor there is.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 20.03.2013, bottle sampled @ BBGTC tasting:
God, men kanskje litt søt.

Bottled. Pours clear reddish amber in color. Sweetish cantaloupe and darker honey sweetness in aroma. Taste on the whole lot is just more sweeter and so smooth. A bit strong at time to time, but yet so smooth, nice honey, dark sweetness too in aftertaste. As an aperitif this is just outstanding.

Bottle. Pours a clear, slightly copper-ish brown. Has a substantial aroma sweet, sweet honey, ripe berries, and alcohol. Flavor is first and foremost sweet, and it comes close to obscuring any other flavor in it. In the background is super-sweet, ripe fruit, perhaps its raspberry, but it has so much trouble competing with the honey I find it it hard to tell. Through the entire experience is a very noticeable alcohol burn, but for me it doesn’t detract. Interesting to try, but only something to sip in very small quantities.

750mL bottle, sent from pantanap (thanks a lot, Kan), pours a dark ruby red with no head. Aroma brings out loads of honey and raspberries, with liqueur and booze. Flavour is crazy decadent, with a ridiculous amount of honey absolutely dominating everything, followed by raspberries, and moderate alcohol but well-hidden. Insanely sweet, well beyond cloying level, though it is still decadent as hell. The booze is well-hidden, as the sweetness overtakes everything. Syrupy viscosity, not that far off from maple syrup or something similar. Too sweet for me, but I recognize the quality of this. Drinkable in extremely small quantities.

Beautiful thick dark amber that leaves legs all over the glass. Aromas of honey, rose, raisin and raspberry. Tastes like it smells, with a deep delicious sweet raisin flavor, like you would get in a world class ice wine. Just enough cirtic acidity to keep it from being cloying. Alcohol is well hidden. This is the best commercial sweet mead I have tasted.
