COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lubelski is produced with the addition of wild forest fruits to nectar honey.

One litre of Półtorak mead contains 720 g of natural honey. Półtorak mead matures for several years to achieve full clarity. In time its rich aroma hides a high content of alcohol (16%) and acidity forming the finest liquor there is. It has a subtle though clearly discernible aroma.

Bottle, thx to thewolf. Pours a clear, golden body with no head. Quite oily. Alcohol, sweetness, honey and hints of heather in the aroma. The flavor is sweet, with warming alcohol, honey and a little heather. Oily, full-bodied mouthfeel. The finish is long with sweetness and honey. A beautiful mead, just like the other Apis meads I’ve had, but this one was a bit on the sweet side. (080301)

(on bottle, thanx to thewolf) Ambercolor and no head. Serious alcoholaroma, get´s almost burning and plum-like. Fat mouthfeel, the sugars and alcohol really heats up and leaves little room for any tasteindicators, aside from that thick and luxurious honey.

fiulijn (12360) - Malmö, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2007
Amber color, slightly hazy, still. Nice aroma, lively, mature, with an undistinguishable mix of honey and raisins. Good body, extremely sweet and syrupy, wrapping, with light honey hint, light fruitness (like apricots), and the necessary acidity (like some great sweet white wines: Sauternes, Ramandolo and the like), perfect balance; finishes with a hint of almonds. Excellent!
