Draft at Beer Run. Pours a hazy orange-red color with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of caramel malts and citrus hops. The taste is citrus and resin hops with caramel malts. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness.

This is my new favorite Imperial Red Ale. Previously I most enjoyed the G’Knight from Oskar Blues and Troeg’s Nugget Nectar, but this is better. Incredibly malty and delicious balanced by massive hoppiness. Munich malt creates a perfect balance between sweet and hoppy. A perfectly balanced and incredibly delicious IRA. This style is going to become more and more popular, and if you enjoy IPAs then you need to try this.

This is a delicious, wonderful ale. It pours a bright copper color with an average head. There is some competing citrus and caramel in the aroma. The flavor is just great. There are huge hops up front, then a rich, smooth malt just floods the tongue, with notes of apple, caramel, citrus and nutmeg. I’m on my third growler-full and plan to refill my growler every chance I get.

Pours deep red with a thick pillow of white head. Taste is very hop forward with a nice malt backbone. Very nice.
