On tap at the brewery. Half hazy orange golden color. Thin bubbly off-white head. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick. Caramel malt, lightly spicy, some resiny citrusy grapefruity malt. Pretty flat. Good moderate bitter, light zesty taste. Light sweet. Some tropical fruity malt flavor. OK IPA. Would probably be a lot better if it wasn’t a bit flat. Good hop flavor, but not carbonated enough.

on tap @ Apocalypse / Louisville KY --- Clear light orange color with a thin head cover, small beads of lace. Taste is malt that is quickly joined by lemon and straw, followed by grapefruit hops. All move smoothly through the palate to to a satisfying finish. Somewhat typical, not very adventurous, but very easy to drink.

jkwood04 (4175) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 23, 2014
Sampled at the brewery. Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of lightly citrusy and floral hops, pale and caramel malts, and light dough. Flavor the same with a decent amount of hops. Average texture. Pretty good but could have more aroma hops.

phaleslu (6843) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 11, 2014
Draft taster at the brewery. Pours a clear, bright gold with a small white head. Sweaty, citrusy, grassy, and faintly floral hops are balanced by pale and sweet malts, with some banana, as well. Not a ton of tropical fruits. Light-medium bodied, with a smooth, malty mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Good IPA, a straightforward Apollo showcase.

Draft. Caramel orange malt and light orange peel aroma. Hazy amber with small head. Sweet orange-caramel malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Nicely blended. Very nice.

jcr (2221) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - APR 20, 2013
Draft. Cloudy amber with a frothy, white head, diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, citrus, grapefruit, orange juice. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Resin/pine taste along with grapefruit and orange. Unfortunately, it also tastes of raw grain. Solid, but like so many other ipas.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2013 Pint plastic glass or thereabouts, remember being an orangish color with white head. Good aroma of hops most likely citrus in nature. Well balanced and not overpowering as some can be. Very drinkable hope they keep this one year round.

Draft into a plastic cup @ Apocalypse. Hard to gauge the appearance. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit and malt. Flavor is well balanced with bitter hops throughout and a light malt sweetness that some in at the end, no alcohol taste. Medium body with a fairly dry mouth feel. Really nice IPA, tasted very fresh and it’s really drinkable.
