Tap sample. Poured clear orange color with an average fizzy white head that diminished quickly with fair lacing. Moderate tart fruity aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet green melon flavor with sweet green melon finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations.

Light reddish orange with white head. Aroma is sweet and a little musty. Taste is cross of watermelon and cucumber. Refreshing.

Aroma of light, refreshing watermelon. Appearance of watermelon with sticky white head. Flavor is fresh and juicy watermelon without being overwhelming, maybe some cotton candy in there (but oddly enough not too sweet). Palate is light body, oily texture, flat carbonation and long finish. Pretty good, and interesting.

Draft at the source. Hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma of fresh fruit and light straw. Taste is light and easy to drink, subtle fruit. Refreshing.

Draft. Strong artificial watermelon aroma (like a Jolly Rancher). Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet-tart watermelon candy and barley malt flavor. Lightly bitter citrus peel finish.

Tap at brewery. Watermelon Jolly Rancher/bubblegum aroma. Honey gold with a small white head. Slightly sweet and tart watermelon, citrus, and grassy hops flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. Watermelon and hops flavors don’t mesh well.

It poured a light golden color with a very little white head. The aroma was crisp and has scents of fresh watermelon. The watermelon was less noticable in the mouth but still aparent. This was a crisp and refreshing beer. Very tasty.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2013 on draft and it pours a lightish pink color in a maze of a light amber color. how the hell do you really describe this one...the aroma of light malt and watermelon pulp is what you get. the flavor is pretty much the same nice crisp taste of the malt with the watermelon overtones. personally i like this beer alot great summer go to beer. mild abv and decent overall flavor. 5/25/13: new for this spring and hopefully throughout the summer. if you take a watermelon jolly rancher and tone it down quite a bit.and blend it with the wheat beer. very refreshing very good and very summery.

On tap at the brewery in Louisville, KY. Pours a lightly hazed, pink tinted golden body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is lighter with a bit of a sweet fruity watermelon and peach note. Thin pale malt backing with a touch of sweetness. Flavor is pale malts with a much more distinct watermelon flavor. Florals, a touch of peach, and just the slightest bit of hopping to help dry this a bit with a clean, pale finish. Short aftertaste following a light, clean body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty basic, but unique beer. Crisp, clean, and pretty refreshing with a distinct watermelon taste that isn’t overpowering. Not bad.
