joss (3146), Garching b. München, Germany Jul 6, 2007 Bottle. Pale golden, creamy head. Light fruity, neutral nose. Hayish malt base, fairly thin on the palate, a bit stringy, subdued hops, ends on a sweet note. MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Apr 11, 2007 Bottle, 5.2%. OK fresh bread aroma. Clear pale yellow colour, small chalk white head. Fresh bread flavour with some rubbery hops. Not as bad as it sounds, but a tad boring. OK crispness in the aftertaste. MoritzF (3926), Ruhrpott, Germany Apr 9, 2007 (bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a fluffy, slowly lacing foamy white head. Soft and slightly sweet malty aroma with strong herbal hoppy notes. Light-sweet flavour, medium to light bodied, moderate to crispy carbonation. Initially malty with early arriving herbal hops; dry and moderately bitter and hoppy finish. More like a Pils than an Export, and a pretty drinkable one. pivnizub (3899), Porúří, Germany Mar 29, 2007 Bottle: Golden, mid-sized lacing white head; distinctive bitter, almost aromatic-hoppy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium-bodied, smooth MF; shorter sweet-malty finish with a dash of hops in the aftertaste. Good, but more a Pils than a Helles........... Geiserich (1541), Vienna, Austria Mar 24, 2007 Light metallic hop aroma. Golden color, small foamy head. Malty flavor, few sweetness, grassy hop notes in the end. Light dry finish. Quite ordinary.
