MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Oct 3, 2007 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and quite dense foamy white head. Herbal hops aroma with grassy notes, a touch of sour dough and a moderate grainy sweetness. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation and a slightly chalky mouthfeel. Malty, slightly flat taste with herbal notes; moderately dry and bitter hoppy finish with a light plastic effect. Unspectacular, industrial Pils. gunnfryd (2718), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 27, 2007 Bottle. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt. Flavour is dry, fruit, malt, hop, apple. OK pilsner yngwie (3394), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 12, 2007 Bottle. (from Trade with MiP) Clear, pale gody with a small, white head. Malty, slightly grainy nose with a little citrusy hoppiness. The flavor has a strange, artificial-like citrus-note as well as pale malt and a delicate bitterness. Medium to thin body, and a nice bitterness and fruityness to finish it. Quite nice pilsener from former DDR. (070712) MiP (4927), Flensburg, Germany Apr 11, 2007 Bottle, 4.8%. Sightly rough, citric aroma. Clear yellow colour. Big and nice, stable and creamy white head. The flavour is a bit citric in an OK way. Quite clean flavour. Late bitterness, which is OK, too. joss (3108), Garching b. München, Germany Mar 26, 2007 Bottle. Pale golden, nice frothy white head. Aromatic and herbal hop nose with a light bready background. Hopprofile present on the palate as well, but on a somewhat weak malt body. Petering out fast onto a anonymous note.
