Papery malt, flowery hop and a somewhat soda/soapy aroma. Pale golden, lacing low head. Weak strawmalt-body, light pleasant enough aromatic hops, overlaid by a unfortunate sulphur note. Light tingling bitterhop finish.

Beer No. 17 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Bottled 500ml. -random gas station near Leipzig. Yellow coloured, medium sized white head, grainy nose. Moderate malty, grainy and light honey with short sweetish finish. Drinkable but boring.

Bottle 50cl. Clear filtered brew, quite golden for a pale pilsen, more The Dortmunder style. Nice aromatic hops, quite dry impression. Balanced and harmonic. Good brew.

Das Bier kommt recht getreidig daher, außerdem wird es mit der zeit relativ herb. Das Bier könnte aber im Ganzen etwas würziger sein, es wirkt so recht harmlos. Einzig der Nachgeschmack ist nicht harmlos, das allerdings im negativen Sinne, der bittere Geschmack wirkt beißend. Trinknen kann man es, aber nach einem Glas bestellt man sich wohl ein anderes. Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is bready malts, some saltwater, mild herbs as well as some floral and mild fruity notes. Flavour is bready malts, quite salty as well as mildly wooden and grassy. A quite pleasantly balanced Classic German Pils.

500ml bottle from a colleague. Clear gold, thick white head. Lovely drinking lager. Bit odd as I had the Thornbridge Italia just before it. I can see lots of people liking the Italia over something like this, but I do like this rather proper lager. Decent pale lager malt aroma. Touch of yeast character. Some very light toast in the mouth. Some decent hops on the finish. This is a very good lager. All good flavours, well balanced. Very drinkable. Lovely lager

Bottled. A light golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw as well as lighter notes of sulphur. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and eggs, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle. Light golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of light hops. Medium carbonation. Dry on the palate with a mild bitter aftertaste

50 cl bottle. Creamy yellow color with white foam. Full flavor of malt and hops flavors with honey - an interesting non-traditional taste

Bottle. Barley malt and mown grass hops aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Creamy barley malt and nice grass hops flavor - very nicely blended. Very nice beer.

Clear light yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090404]
