Dark yellow colored, little white head. Fruity and strongly hopped aroma with some nice, still surprising caramelly notes. Medium bodied. Flavor is even more sweet with this honey and mild caramel. Aftertaste dries only mildly with still this honey note. Clean, but still rather weird brew.

Das Bier kommt recht getreidig daher, außerdem wird es mit der zeit relativ herb. Das Bier könnte aber im Ganzen etwas würziger sein, es wirkt so recht harmlos. Einzig der Nachgeschmack ist nicht harmlos, das allerdings im negativen Sinne, der bittere Geschmack wirkt beißend. Trinknen kann man es, aber nach einem Glas bestellt man sich wohl ein anderes. UPDATED: JUN 26, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden, decent head, pronounced bitterness on a good malt base. Yet another Pilsener variety from Apoldaer. 160305

Pale yellow of color with a white head. An aroma with corn and apricot. The taste is corny and bitter, with some yeast.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet malty aroma with hints of hops and a gassy stench. Light sweet flavour, light to medium body, very soft mouthfeel. Malty and very shy hoppy taste; slim and short, slightly bitter with an unpleasant gassy aftertaste.

Corny aroma. Pale golden color. Flavor is light hoppy, grainy and few swet. All in all a bit thin and watery. Quite bitter, herbal finish. Unbalanced.

Clear golden colour, thin lasting head, full with grain,..almost a "havermout/ watery-bread", much to feed. less pilsener hinds like hops.

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is grain, malt. Flavour is hay, grain, malt. Ok pilsner

Bottle. A clear, pale golden beer with a white head. Hay, grain and some hops in the aroma. The flavor has hay, grain and a little yeasty note. Thin to medium body. Decent pilsner. (070331)

Hop, grass, cabbage and cardboard aroma; bitter taste with smoke aroma; bitter smoky finish. Positively unpleasant hop-extract taste. Just about undrinkable.
