UPDATED: JUN 26, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Usually an "Urtyp" is a pretty bitter pilsener, but in this case it’s more like an original Bavarian lager predating pilseners (a type that’s a bit difficult to place within ratebeerian categories). Amber coloured with some impurities, limited head. Malty with weak caramel notes and a shot of hoppy notes in the finish. 190205
