(On tap) Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with an off white head. Aroma of fruit and diacetyl. Medium body with purely caramel accents, fruit and then an overpowering sourness. Subdued bitterness - just sour. Wonder why they sold this clearly infected ber. 180608

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy and deep orange with a lacing light tan head. Citric aroma, light off. Flavour is citric, mild caramel malt base. Seems to be related to oud bruin styles. Mild creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is medium dry and mild yeasty, not much bitterness. Ends with a mild citric bite from what could be a mild infection, yet it seems quite controlled. I liked it despite that it wasnt as complex as the classic belgian styles. Tricky is if this was a batch gone bad :) Still drinkable though.
