Draught at the brewpub. Dark amber beer with a nice lasting head. Rich chocolate aroma, caramel, roasted, cocoa powder, spicy notes, vanilla, notes of raisins. Chocolate flavor, milky, cocoa powder, spice notes, tar, rather nice bitterness after a while. Bitter chocolate finish with raisins, citrus, cocoa powder and notes of licorice.

Tap @ Apollo, Cph. Pours chestnut brown with a lovely, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has mild chocolate, caramel, pine and citrus. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, sweet malts, chocolate, caramel. Lingering bitter finish with pine, light ashy.

Overall: A malty but well balanced brown ale, and a distinct american character as well.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear red-brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet, fruity and light roasted aroma of caramel, dark chocolate, nuts and hops. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, nuts and hops with notes of licorice. Hoppy finish.

Draft. A brown beer with a malt, nuts, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, toffee, and nuts, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.

On tap. Pours an almost clear brown with an orange hue and a dense beige head leaving some lacework. Delicate roasty, nutty aroma with some chocolate accents. Medium body, plenty of chocolate and subtle roast with a light malt bitterness in the finish. Gets an ever so slight fusty note as it warms. No real aromatic impact of the - supposedly - American hops. 261012

Draught at brewpub. Brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt and caramel.

From tap at Apollo. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish, caramlish. Dry breadish, malty roasted and solid bitter. Dry, toasted malty and breadish. Dry malty finish.
