Semi clear and dark golden cololured with a medium sized off white head. Diacityl, diacityl and more diacityl. Almost couldnt finish this one. Weak notes of hay, grain and hops. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 14, 2008 (On tap) Almost clear, amber golden with a dense, beige head. Lovely, lightly sweet aroma of caramel. Medium body with clean, sweet accents of caramel and lightly roasted malts. Ends on a dry, lightly bitter finish. Very classical Bock character. Flavour of malts, caramel and hay with notes of hops. Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 7, 2008 Draft. A hazy amber beer with a thick dense cream colored head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of diacethyl. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and nuts as well as lighter notes of alcohol, metal, and diacethyl, leading to a dry and slightly bitter and metallic finish.
