COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Efter 8 er en chokolade stout med mynte og minder derfor noget i smagen og duften om den kendte chokolade af næsten samme navn. Ristet og fyldig som en stout skal være, men med et lille twist..

English: Chocolate Stout with peppermint.

On tap. Pours an almost opaque black with only a vague tint of orange and a dense and creamy beige nitro head leaving laces. Soft, lightly roasted aroma. Medium body, hard roasted malts but completely dominated by the peppermint. A little dark chocolate in the finish and also a little malt bitternes. Good fun. 071009

Very dark brown with a small off-white head. Roasted malt aroma with licorice and a fruity touch. Sweet licorice flavour with a faint herbal note that might be the mint... it’s certainly not overdone

Tap @ Flakhaven, Odense. Pitch black with a creamy lasting brown head and lacings. Nose is soft and mildly roasted coffee and as the beer warms signs of mint comes through. Palate is velvetly soft and smooth. Chocolate and mild coffee. Very fine

Tap, 250ml at the brewpub. Lasting, tan-coloured head. Fragile lace to the glass. Pitch black body. Just right; this is like smelling and drinking the chocolate called called After Eight. A mix of chocolate malts, peppermint and candy sweetness on a slightly roasted background.. A lightly touch of bitter hops to the ending. Very easy to drink. On the sweet side, but quite alright (01.11.2011).
