Thomas_E (4814), Copenhagen, Denmark Feb 26, 2007 Clear amber, reddish colour with a dense beige head. Malty, light sweet and hoppy fruity aroma with notes of flower. Hoppy, fruity flavor with a light floral and yeasty note. Dry bitter finish. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 23, 2007 (On tap) Beautiful, clear, warm amber with a creamy, beige head leaving a pretty lacework. Fat, heavy hop aroma. Rather full-bodied with sweetish caramel notes but otherwise completely dominated by distinct aroma hops also leaving a massive bitterness. A very solid if not exactly refined IPA. 220207 Theis (2039), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 20, 2007 Draught at Apollo. Clear brown - offwhite head. Bread, berries, yeasty, brown sugar, caramel, something makes it harsh, light bitterness, notes of dry grass and hay. Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 20, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. A dark amber beer with a thick yellowish head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, Apollo yeast, caramel, and citrus, as well as hints of butter. The flavor is rather sweet with strong notes of malt, and quite a lot of hops and citrus in the beginning, but then buttery and Apollo yeasty notes appears and grows in intensity, leading to a bitter end with a citrusy note lingering around. I don’t like the buttery notes. madsberg (4365), Bangalore, India Feb 17, 2007 Draught @ the brewpub. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Flowery and sweet aroma.
