Pernille (518), Copenhagen, Denmark Jul 10, 2005 Draft. Very fresh, almost citrus aroma. Hazy orange color with a head that settles to 1 cm. Very bitter. Might be lacking some sweetness from the malt but otherwise it’s definitely very nice and true to the style. fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Feb 13, 2006 Draught at the brewpub, 6.7% ABV Cloudy amber color. Light fruity hops. Structured body, malty, with a very good bitterness, well melted, with a classic hop-caramel touch and at least this one with no Apollo-yeast effect. Good, well brewed. Sigmund (1961), Hafrsfjord, Norway Jul 30, 2005 Draught in Herning, "beer of the month" for July 2005. Hazy deep golden colour, moderate head. Pleasant hoppy aroma and flavour (Cascade?) with citrussy notes as expected from an IPA. Hops are probably not intense enough for an American IPA fan, but I liked it. Nice beer! Jukkabro (2394), Tampere, Finland Aug 10, 2006 Brown colored, big light brown head. Fruits, lemon, caramel and dryness in aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor has licorice, dryness, fine hops with caramel and lemon, aftertaste lasts with dryness, flowers and mild alcohol. Good IPA with nice touch of licorice. FrankJohansen (2807), Sabro, Denmark Feb 5, 2006 Amber colour with a creamy off white mostly diminishing head. Aroma of hobs and malt. Medium body and average lasting taste.
