Ungstrup (11354), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 18, 2003 Updated: May 14, 2006A deep red unclear beer (not filteret) with a beutiful head. It has a slight aroma of fruit. The flavor is very mild with notes of fruit - but no bitterness. It’s very light for a christmas beer of 5.6% abv. Papsoe (10285), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 13, 2005 (On tap) Nice amber colour with a fine head. Discreet, slightly flowery nose and a light bitterness. Unfortunately this lacks both body and flavour - I expect a lot more from a Christmas brew. 111201 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 11, 2007 From tap at the brewpub (ABV: 5.9%). Pours beautiful red/hazzlenut brown with a dense off-white head. Sweet malty and butterish aroma with a slight spiced note. Flavour holds a soft citric/bitter note above the mild malt base. Not really sweet nor dry, medium. Slight bitterness in the finish, but once again - buttery. Has a note of cardemomme in the far finish. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 8, 2005 Draft at the brewpub.
Hazy orange coloured with a small beige head.
Sweet aroma of fruits, malts and hops with spicy notes.
Fruity flavour with notes of hops, yeast and overriped fruits.
Hoppy finish. Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Jan 4, 2005 Draught at the brewpub. Hazy amber color and a big head. Almost the same aroma as most of the other apollo beers, this on have a fruity malty aroma and sweet caramel fruity taste. Medium body and a smooth finish.
