Hazy amber colored with a fine off-white head. Apollo yeast in the aroma as usual along with malt, melon and grassy tones. Not very heavy but fresh. Flavor is sweet malty and caramelly with plenty of fruit and Apollo yeast in there also. Medium bodied and a dry finish. Surprisingly light for an Apollo beer, specially considering it’s their christmas brew!

Fra fat på bryggeripuben 4 Nov 11. Mørk gylden / amber. OK luftig skum som varer. God fruktaroma med en anelse krydder. Smaken er søt frukt. Appelsin & plommer. Forsiktig tørr avslutning.

Nose is quite broad malt, middle is leaves, then weak ginger and late weak quite mellow hops, feel is quite broad, carb is medium, taste is sweet, heavy red apple, apricot and lemon notes, little rosehip, broad velvet hops finish

Tap at sct. Clements Aarhus. A ok christmas beer, but a bit boring. A bit sweet. Nice amber colour with creamy head.

250ml draught at the brewpub. Unclear amber. Filmy layer. Malt-fruity aroma. Malty taste profile with brown sugar with citrus peels keeping the sweetness at bay. Smooth and creamy in the mouth (Copenhagen, 14.11.2010).

De barril. Clear reddidh brownish colour, short beige head. Aroma of toasty malt and caramel, bit spice and fruit. Ok mouthfeel. Toasted malt and caramel with spice in the flavour along with some fruit and a mild bitterness.

Tap @ Flakhaven, Odense. Pours clear reddish amber with a small white head. Nose is sweet vienna , with a hint of butter, grain and alcohol. Taste is dry and bitter with notes of grass, grain and perfumy hops. Medium palate. Ends dry. Fresh and fine offering from Apollo!
