Draft. A slightly hazy dark amber beer with a thick tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of Apollo yeast and caramel, as well as lighter notes of cloves and alcohol. The flavor is swetet with strong notes of Apollo yeast as well as medium notes of caramel and brew mash and lighter notes of spices, the strongest being cinnamon. The alcohol tickles the tongue lightly.

Growler, 7.2%. Spicy aroma, tea and black pepper. Almost clear brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is sweet and spicy, a little refreshing. Hint of cough syrup, which I usually like.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden brown with a dense off-white head. Mild ginger and cardemomme spiced aroma. Sweet and malty flavoured with a subdued spice note. Light bitterness coming through. Light cookie like flavoured with a mild yeasty tone on top. Light bitter and roasted malty finish. Smooth and flavourful, nice one.
