Tap @ Apollo, Cph.
Pours deep chestnut black with a small, bubbly, beige head. Aroma has some butter, oats, roasted malts, light chocolate. Some cauliflower notes. Medium carbonation, fine dryness but rather thin palate. Flavour is mildly roasted, but there is some serious off-notes of citrus and cauliflower as well. Light coffee in the finish. Not good.

Draught @ Brewpub Kobenhavn, Vestergade 29, 1456 Copenhagen, Denmark.

Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, toffee, sweet coffee, light burnt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark roasted, burnt malt bitter, chocolate, dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. To much roasted - burnt malt for me, maybe it is the coffee ! [20110401]
